Important considerations for artist's images on the web

I ran across this 2007 article about how not to display your artwork on the web recently and wanted to share it to anyone who hasn’t yet seen it or perhaps knows someone who might benefit from the valuable information offered in the Lines and Color’s article written by Charley Parker on How Not to Display Your Artwork on the Web here.

I spend way too much time most every day looking at artist websites and often run into every way possible that can make it difficult to see the artist’s work. My biggest pet peeve is people who don’t allow you to navigate through the larger version of the images with a next and previous button of some sort. Worse yet is when they offer a thumbnail that only leads to a marginally bigger image. This article addresses what you need to consider with this and many more issues in a funny and useful manner, I’ve yet to read anything that addresses this concern so clearly, a must read for any artist with a website.
